Oh my god I can't believe it...

...I've never been this far away from home!

You won't believe what Kim, her frog, Miri and I did yesterday! We called the people the day before and set the date for monday, 10am. Kim and Miri were all excited about it and couldn't wait to be picked up at 9. I didn't really understand why because it wasn't that big of a deal but they were.. seriously, it was insane. There was no other topic they could talkt about. So I was glad when we finally hoppend into the car to get to the starting area. But when we got there the first thing we had to do was fill out a sheet with name, birthday, blah, blub, AND the name and adress of the person we want to be contacted in case something(!!!) happens!!!!!! AAAAHHHH! I have to admit that was the moment I got kind of scared. Really, it was weird having to sign all that. But everybody had to do it so we finished it quickly and went outside to see what's gonna happen next.
And we waited.. and we walked around for a little bit.. and we waited again.. and we talked to the girl that came with us in the car, Michelle.. and we took photos for the (we think 60year old) women who jumped first, which was actually quite fun (and we got little cakes from her bc it was her birthday, yammi!)... and we waited again. We had to wait for almost 2 hours until it was our turn. But then we finally could get our suits, some instructions and get ready for the big adventure!

You want to know what we did? Well.. have a guess ;-) I won’t tell you now..

Jeri (jumped with Kim), Kitsch (jumped with the camera to tape Kim) and Won (jumped with Miri) hopped with us onto the back of the little truck and we drove the 300 meters to the little plane that waited for us. Uhhh it was so little! We were 6 people (with the pilot) and could hardly fit in there. And then we finally took off! What a great feeling! Flying over the awesome landscape. We wanted to jump from 9000 feet (that’s what we had payed for) but for some reason they took us all the way up to 12000 feet. It was great! Miri and I went first. Won conected his suit with hers and then weh ad to get out

of the plane. And we just fell! And Miri screamed ;-) WOW there is nothing to explain this feeling! It was breathtaking. There is only air around you, the earth looks so small and you feel as if you could hug it! Everything comes closer and closer! We had 45 seconds of free fall and then Won opened the parachute and we could take off the glasses and have a closer look at everything surrounding us. We could look all the way to the sea!

Shortly after Won opened the parachute we saw Kim (with her frog), Jari and Kitsch falling and then opening their parachutes. It looked great! We flew for about 5 minutes until we touched the ground. I still wish this time would have never ended. We were all so happy and just wanted to do it again.

So that was the end of our adventure with skydiving. We also got to see the video that Kitsch had taped of Kim (and a little bit of Miri as well). I have to tell you: Kims face when she jumped! Hilarious! We watched it over and over again.. and just couldn’t stop laughing.. it was great!
