Internet's soooo rare!

We really don't get a lot of chances to go online and it's just soooo expensive so here's just a short summary of the last few days:

Well on friday Miri decided to finally get out of Auckland and booked a bus to Whangarei. I had no idea what she wanted to do there but oh well.. and of course not even an hour after we had booked it we met a girl from germany (Anja) at the busstop and because we just didn't know what else to do we went into town with her where we met a friend of hers, Dani! Miri and her got along so well and we almost wished that we hadn't booked the busride. Well we couldn't do anything about it but we spent an awesome evening together with the two girls at the (chinese) Latern Festival in Auckland.. We had awesome sprongrolls and Anja and Miri even did Karaoke (they sang Pretty Woman and lost the melody in the end..) it was great!

The next day we met with Dani and a guy we met at the Festival at a cafe, bought a new simcard for Miris cell phone (couldn't use it though because her phone was locked so we had to call Germany in the evening and get the code..) and went into town with Dani (and the huge backpack) to get our bus.

There we met Benjamin, a guy from Germany (tons of Germans arround!!) and we ended up going to the same hostel.. they offered to pick us up which was great with the heavy backpacks. We also could rent some bikes (with helmets!) to go to the supermarket and get some stuff to eat. The next day another girl from Germany (Natascha) arrived and we went to the Whangarei falls (26m waterfall!) beautiful! Natascha and Miri decided to walk down the path along the river and I have to say.. it was gorgeous! And so noisy.. like you're in a rainforest. It was cool to talk english the whole way with her.
