So let me explain one day of Miris life here in Blenheim:
her alarm went off every day at 5.45 am and so her and Dani got up, had breakfast and got ready to be picked up. It was still dark when they stood in front of the backpacker and not bad enouhj that it was so early.. it was also freezing cold! So we stood there all together and waited for Saba (we're not quite sure if he's actually called like that) to pick us up.. and he was ALWAYS late! And we stood there freezing. So the next stop was at the contracters house where everyone met. And then wait... and wait.. for about 1 or 1,5 hours! What the **** did we wait for?? Nobody knew. So in the end we finally drove to the vineyard and they started working. There is a short break at 10 and a lunch break at 12.30 when we all relaxed in the sun. It was always quite warm after the short break and in the afternoon it got even warmer. At about 3 or 4 they were done. And I mean DONE! You could not talk to them. Seriously.. when I told Miri something she sometimes would forget it of not react.. so the only thing they did when we were back at the backpacker was shower, get something to eat, talk to the others for a little bit and then go to bed. What a successful day! Miri complains about her back all the time.. and I can really understand that. She has to bend over so much when she is working because the grapes are hanging very low and she has to get every rotten one!
There is one more thing I want to tell you about. Wednesday! The day before Mathew, the contracter, told Miri and Dani that he would call them if there was work for wednesday.. and he didn't. So the two thought wanted to try to go somewhere else.. just show up at the place and try to get work right away. So they got up like every morning and all the sudden Saba showed up at the door of the backpacker! What? And he even was early that day.. otherwise we probably would have left until he would have come. Wow.. that was kind of luck, I guess.. and then he told them that there was work for the rest of the week. Cool! And just the day before we ended up driving around for an hour.. apparently Mathew didn't know where we could work... that Mathew.. he's messed up with his organisation.. don't ever work for him!

musst du auch so anstrengende sachen machen, cabby? pass auf die miri auf, dass sie sich nicht überarbeitet, auch wenn ich den job cool find, sicher interessant sowas mal gemacht zu haben ;)
wenn ich richtig gerechnat habe seid ihr jetzt schon wieder fertig mit der Abeit dort und bereist die Südinsel? Hört sich lustig an was Cabby über deine Arbeit erzählt ^^. Naja, immerhin bist du nicht allein bei der Arbeit.

So jetzt kommt auch noch was von mir: Ich freu mich immer, wenn ich das kleine Entlein und dich seh, bist ja echt schön braun...und ich erfrier hier bei dem was sich so Frühling nennt.
